오늘 소개해드릴 차는 폭스바겐 투아렉입니다.

차를 10년 정도 타셨는데 지루하고 새롭게 꾸미고 싶으셔서

경주에서 랩케빈을 찾아오셨습니다.

다니면서 가끔 BMW의 블루색을 보시고 마음에 드셔서

블루색 계통으로 문의를 하셨습니다.

Today's full vehicle wrap is Volkswagen Touareg.

Customer has been riding the car for 10 years

and was getting bored of the color

so he wanted to do a complete makeover.

He came all the way from Gyeongju.

He's seen few BMWs on the road with blue color.

He really liked it so much, he wanted to wrap his car in blue.

포항랩핑 경주랩핑 자동차랩핑 랩케빈 두 번째 작업 전체랩핑은 폭스바겐 투아렉입니다.

시공 필름은 3M 2080 유광딥블루메탈릭으로 결정하셨습니다.

3M 2080은 보호필름이 있어 시공할 때 잔기스를 막아줍니다.

시공 후에 보호필름을 벗기면 깨끗한 면이 보이죠.

WRAP KEVIN's second project is Volkswagen Touareg.

The color being used is 3M 2080 Gloss Deep Blue Metallic.

3M 2080 series has a protective sheet on top to prevent scratches during the installation process.

After installation, the protective sheet can be removed to show the true color of wrap.

랩핑의 가장 중요한 시작은 밑작업입니다.

밑작업전 기본적인 탈거를 진행합니다.

투아렉의 앞 그릴은 탈거가 쉬우며

그릴 밑에 앞범퍼 면이 깊게 있어서

꼭 탈거를 해야 좋은 품질이 나옵니다.

The most important process before wrapping is prepping the car.

Basic parts and emblems are removed before prepping.

Touareg's grille can be removed easily

and needs to be removed to increase the quality of the wrap

since the front bumper goes in deep under the grille.

차가 오래되어 철분과 타르가 엄청 많았습니다.

밑작업이 상당히 오래 걸렸습니다. ㅎㅎㅎ

아래 사진들을 보시면 보라색 물이 철분입니다.

새롭게 변신하려고 옛 추억을 버리며 보라색 눈물을 흘리네요. ^^

Since the car has its age, there were a lot of iron and tar on the surface.

Prepping the car was a long process due to it.

You can see the purple fluid in the pictures below which are iron.

Looks like it's crying to forget the old memories before the complete makeover. ^^

우선 첫 스타트는 양쪽 앞휀다랑 본넷입니다.

차가 점점 블루로 변하니 멋있어 보입니다. :)

The first start is the front fenders and the hood.

The car is slowly turning blue and looking amazing. :)

투아렉은 일반 SUV들 보다 시공할 판이 많았습니다.

앞범퍼, 뒷범퍼, 도어 4판이 두 판으로 나눠저있어서

시공이 조금 더 오래 걸렸습니다.

앞도어들은 사이드미러를 탈거해야

절개 라인 없이 깨끗한 품질이 나와서

탈거를 하고 시공하였습니다.

Touareg has more parts compared to regular SUVs.

Since the front & rear bumper, and the doors each has two separate parts,

the installation process took longer than normal.

The side mirrors had to be removed for a seam-free installation,

plus cleaner installation with quality.

그다음은 큰판 중에 하나인 뒤휀다를 작업합니다.

판이 큰 편이라 시공을 섬세하며 빨리 진행해야

도장면 같은 좋은 품질이 나옵니다.

Next installation is one of the bigger parts, the rear fender.

Since the surface is so big, installation has to be done in detail quickly

to provide a paint-like quality finish.

루프는 손님과 상의하여 루프랙 탈거없이 진행하기로 하였습니다.

투아렉 루프랙은 실내 천장을 다 털어야 하며

시간과, 공임비, 리스크를 줄이기 위해

탈거를 하지 않았습니다.

절개 라인이 조금 보일 수도 있다고 설명하였습니다.

손님이 괜찮으시다면서 시공을 진행하였습니다.

After discussing with the customer,

roof was wrapped without removing the roof rack

as the whole interior roof had to be removed.

The removal of roof rack was avoided to decrease the time, labor, and risk.

The customer understood there would be a few seams and told me it was okay.

스포일러도 탈거하기가 까다로워

쉽지 않았지만 탈거없이 진행하였습니다.

The removal of rear spoiler was not easy either,

so it was wrapped without the removal process.

It sure wasn't the easiest way to wrap it.

​

실버에서 블루로 가니 차가 확 달라 보입니다!!!

블루색이 8기통의 강렬함을 더욱더 자랑하네요. ^^

Now let's take a look at the completely transformed Touareg~

The car looks completely different from being silver to blue!!!

The blue color brings out the intensity of the V8 even more. ^^

마감도 같이 구경해보시죠~ ^^

순정 도장 인것처럼 랩핑한 티가 하나도 안나네요.

전체랩핑은 외부에서 봤을때 순정 도장이 보이면 안됩니다.

Let's take a look at the corners also~ ^^

It doesn't look like it's wrapped and looks completely OEM.

The importance of full vehicle wrap is to not show the original color from the outside.

뒷범퍼 위 라인이 삐뚤삐뚤해 보이는데

실수가 아닙니다!

조명이 반사해서 그렇게 보이는 거예요 ㅋㅋㅋ

트렁크를 닫으면 순정 도장이 아예 안보입니다. ㅎㅎㅎ

It looks like the rear bumper line by the trunk is crooked,

but it's not a mistake at all!

It's just the light reflection that makes it look that way. LOL.

Once the trunk is closed, the original paint is never to be shown again.

손님이 너무 마음에 들어 하셔서

너무너무 뿌듯합니다. ^^

The finale of the full wrap is WRAP KEVIN's metal sticker!!

The customer was very satisfied

and it brought happiness to me.

전체랩핑 후에 손님이

매장 근처에 있는 TT모터스에서 휠 도색을 하신 후

바로 옆에 있는 세차장에서 유리막 코팅을 하셨습니다!

휠 도색을 하니 차가 확 달라졌네요~

After the full wrap,

the customer got his rims painted nearby,

then got the full ceramic coating by the carwash place right next to my shop!

The car looks completely different with the painted rims~
